Hervorragend!

This tent is great very light and integrated well into my pack I was very disappointed the poll set was packed by the supplier in such a way the poll set puncture a hole in the stuff sack before it was sent to me other then that im very happy with the mtnglo feature and the gear loft tent body is also an overall great design

5,0 von 5 Sternen Just about perfect for family lightweight 3 season backpacking

I searched everywhere for a 4 man tent that could be used for my family of me, my wife and two sons for lightweight backpacking. After months of web searching decided on this. Have just returned from three days use in the Cairngorm Mountains in Scotland and overall we are impressed! The tent easily fits us all and in the wet weather we were able to store wet packs and waterproofs in one porch and cook in the other. I was worried about the stability, but it did handle 35mph winds, for the weather I need it for it was fine, for really bad weather i.e. Scottish high level camping I would use a heavier 4 season tent. I made sure it was pitched correctly and I did use extra long strong pegs, plus all guys out. The tent did buck and boom A LOT, but it held, although it is noisy as fly creaks over poles. There was one point early in the night where one of the poles bowed in rather alarmingly, but I retightened all the anchor points - which had slackened off slightly, and it didn't happen again even though the winds increased. As the dad I never sleep well in bad weather, but the tent stood up to the gusts and the family slept. It endured prolonged, wind driven torrential rain and we stayed completely dry. No condensation even with the four of us in the tent in cool 6ºc temps. I did put an old shower curtain under the groundsheet to protect it - I will probably buy the footprint. We had to strip down in the rain and managed to pack everything including the inner from within the fly (tricky without the proper footprint, but 'do-able') emerging to quickly pack the rain soaked fly in a dry bag for the walk out. For what we need, 3 season backpacking, it is ideal.

5,0 von 5 Sternen Great tent, terrible purchasing experience
Bewertet in den USA am14. August 2024
** first things first, do not purchase this from the seller I did, The Watch Locker, the tent I received had been used and had holes in the rain fly and bags. It was also missing most of the stakes. I was able to patch the tent with Tenacious Tape, but when i pay for a brand new item i shouldn't have to do that **

I've been backpacking for over 30 years, I've owned several tents, some old school, some ultralight and so far this one is my favorite, especially as a family tent. Set up is wonderfully simple, the poles are connected to a central disk and connects to the tent in a very intuitive way. The rain fly has its own pole but also connects simply. In this 5 person tent we fit 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 60lb dogs and were comfortable, it's absolutely palatial!
On this tent's maiden voyage we went to a location about 11,000 ft above sea level and experienced a storm that was majestically terrible. Winds that were 60mph+, heavy rains, snow and even sizable hail. This tent took it all like a champ. No damage to the tent, despite the heavy weather and the debris it flung at us, no water seeping in anywhere, and enough space that the 6 of us lounged comfortably without feeling on top of one another.
Takedown was as fast & easy as set up and we had no problem fitting it back into its bag.
I didn't buy the gear hammock that goes with the tent but there are plenty of stash pockets to put headlamps, books, chapstick, and other small essentials that are nice to have in the tent with you. I was also impressed with the zipper layout on the doors, they can open from R or L to limit crawling over your tent mates when nature calls in the middle of the night.
Some folks who passed by our camp commented on our tent, there was skepticism that the delicate looking fabric would be very durable, but it's tougher than it looks. One of the dogs with us is a puppy and if we didn't hang onto him while we opened doors he'd try to barge his way through. There were two times when he tried to barge his way through, I thought for sure he'd put holes in it, but nope, this stuff is stronger than you'd ever think.
The only thing I have to warn about is that if you are over 6' 8" you may not fit well. We were laying with heads and feet at the doors and my husband, a bit of a giant, had no wiggle room his head and feet were right at the walls of he didn't curl up a bit. Otherwise I have no caveats about this tent. If you like to stay as a family all in one tent with just enough room not to get on each other's nerves but want to minimize the weight you're hauling this is the tent for you. I choked a bit on the price, but having used it I'm confident it will be the last group tent we need & will serve us well for many years.

Love this tent. It is awesome. Lightweight, very well made, easy to put up and lots of room. Spent 4 days wildcamping in Glenco and it was a dream. Love the LED lights too.

1,0 von 5 Sternen Internal light not working

This tent with such price should have not given me troubles, however internal light has not been working since I bought. I have opened a case with manufacturers, also during communication I mentioned any my other USB(charge) power supply can bring tent light on, however two of power supplies provided by manufacturer can not bring the tent light on. Now they want me to send the tent back for further trouble shooting. I have wasted too much time on this problem. This is just a piece of crap.
